Curtis Bauer is the VP of Settlements and Special Projects who works with our Settlements team to ensure they are fully supported. Curtis also manages special projects alongside our development team to bring new and innovative applications to our customers and internal team, making our processes more efficient and productive. Since being immersed in the horse racing industry, Curtis believes that, although the industry is contracting, there is a bright future for CHRIMS services in domestic and international markets. He is very passionate about his contributions to CHRIMS, and strongly believes in the future growth of the company. He is dedicated to providing positive customer experiences while consistently finding ways to improve the functionality of current and future applications. Curtis has been instrumental in enhancing and bringing to market our Net Settlements application which serves as a subsidiary ledger to Simulcast Settlements. Curtis has helped the CHRIMS operations team bring new applications to the horse racing industry and continually supports customers as well as internal teams. In his free time, Curtis enjoys playing golf, hiking, brewing craft beer, wood working, watching the Oakland A’s win, bourbon hunting, cuddling his English bulldogs, traveling to new places, and spending time with his wife, Kenna, and the most recent addition to their family, Casen James. Curtis holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis is Data Analytics, from the Saint Mary’s College of California. He also holds a B.A. in Business Economics, with an emphasis in Accounting, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While at UCSB, Curtis was a four year Division I Collegiate Athlete on the UCSB’s Men’s Swim Team.
