Patty Miller is Director of Settlements and oversees the Lexington, Kentucky operations for CHRIMS. Patty and her team strive to provide CHRIMS’ customers with efficient and accurate invoicing, simulcast settlement services and ongoing cash collections with the focus on the customers’ bottom line. She also oversees the W-2G reporting and filings with the IRS. Patty’s 17-year background in the equine industry includes working as a financial accountant for a premier thoroughbred racetrack, which affords CHRIMS’ settlement customers with audit and financial reporting support. Beyond her work in the industry, she grew up with a love for horse racing, having been introduced by her father as a teenager with a two-hour trek to Keeneland every fall for her birthday. Patty moved to Lexington in 1982 to complete her bachelors’ degree in Accounting at the University of Kentucky, where she met her husband Greg and is raising their two daughters, Anna and Ella, on their farm surrounded by horse country. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, hiking Kentucky, cooking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her animals.
